I’m so lucky! Can you believe that in the same weekend that we were treated with so many delectable goodies at Lucy’s I was also spoiled rotten by another fabulous friend? Middle Eastern cooking is obviously the cuisine of the moment as we all seem to be so taken with cooking, eating and reading about it!

View from Church House Porch - Bruny Island

We returned last week from 11 days in Tasmania. Four adults, two toddlers – and big appetites! We spent the time in and around the Hobart region including three nights on Bruny Island in a converted church (where we wished we’d arranged to spend longer – I’m sure this is a repeated tale of most visitors to the island).

Adelaide Hills Farmers Market

We went for a drive to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market yesterday and then on to the Meadows Easter Fair. There didn’t seem to be much else on for families over the Easter Weekend (or was I just poor at Googling?).

It was a beautiful day and a lovely drive. We tried to leave early so we could get to the market before it was all over (runs from 8-12 I think) and we ended up arriving at 10am after an hours drive from the Western suburbs. This didn’t seem to be a problem as it looked like all the stalls still had plenty of produce on offer and the breakfast roll/coffee stall was still running hot.
